Garden Birthday Party For Kids Ideas

By | April 20, 2015

Creative invitations build excitement and can increase attendance at your child’s garden birthday party. If you have time to make your own invitations, be sure to involve your child in choosing the design and filling in the details. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Create a flower-shaped invitation from card stock so the petals fold down into a circle. When the petals are opened, it should resemble a blooming flower. Add the party details in the center, so they are revealed when the petals are opened.

Use a standard card-style invitation, and tie it with floral ribbon to a small terra cotta pot with a packet of flower seeds tucked inside. You will need to hand deliver these invitations.

It’s easy to create snacks for your garden birthday party, and clever food will add to the fun of the party. The example of party favors and food include the darling pink mini ombre cakes, the green and pink lanterns with butterflies attached strung above the eating table, the cute toadstool house cake, the lemonade stand, some daisy cookies and the grass full of daisies displayed on the dessert table

For the activities, you may start with planting seeds and digging tub with the children. They then made some holes with their fingers and dropped in 4-5 round Sweet Pea seeds, ready for growing at home before planting out in the garden! There were mini watering cans to water them with too. Kids can bring them back as souvenir.
